The Human Digestive Tract Model is a 3-part model showing the alimentary canal from the mouth to the rectum.

 

The Human Digestive Tract Model is a 3-part model showing the alimentary canal from the mouth to the rectum.  Shown in median section  of the digestive system model are the buccal cavity, pharynx, esophagus, 2-part stomach, duodenum, small and large intestines, opened appendix, and rectum. The transverse colon can be removed. The liver and pancreas are also shown.  The Deluxe Liver and Gallbladder Model is one-and-one-half times life-size. The ventral surface is dissected to expose major blood vessels and bile ducts in deep relief. Color-coding clarifies the complex vascular network. The portal vein and its branches are colored lavender, the gallbladder and bile ducts green, the hepatic artery and its branches vermillion, and the hepatic veins blue.  The Stomach and Ulcers Model is a one-piece, life-size cutaway section of the stomach. Shows esophageal inflammation, gastric ulcer, and duodenal ulcer. The Colon Model of the large intestines shows the anatomy as well as several common diseases and conditions. The colon model is cross-sectioned to show colitis, diverticulitis, diverticulosis, bacterial infection, cancer, spastic colon, and polyps. Crohn's disease is shown in an area of the small intestines. The appendix and rectum are also shown.  The Pancreas, Spleen and Gallbladder Model depicts a life-size showing several conditions of the digestive system model's abdominal organs. Pancreatic cancer, gallstones, a ruptured spleen and a duodenal ulcer are illustrated.  The Gallstone Model is a half life-size model of the gallbladder shows cholecystitus and the tissue changes caused by chronic inflammation in the gallbladder wall. Also shows gallstones.
